Harmland Visions, LLC is an entertainment company dedicated to elevating events to their fullest potential. We bring the energy and keep the party going from the moment doors open until the final song of the night. Our journey began in Grambling, Louisiana, where our team connected while attending college and quickly became known for creating fun, unforgettable experiences. After relocating to Dallas, Texas, we expanded our brand to serve weddings, corporate and social events, birthday parties, family reunions, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16s, Quinceañeras, and more.
Our DJs and MCs are also radio-trained professionals, delivering polished, high-impact entertainment that makes every school event truly memorable. With a young, trend-savvy team, we stay ahead of the latest music, social media, and entertainment trends—allowing us to connect instantly with students and keep them engaged. From maximizing any venue to transforming a school gym to perfectly match a prom theme, our services are designed to create a visually and musically immersive experience.

#HighSchoolHype is a promotional initiative powered by Harmland Visions, LLC, created to elevate the prom and homecoming experience. Our mission is to transform these milestone events into something students truly look forward to and feel motivated to be a part of. With the collaboration of special event committees, booster clubs, and the support of faculty, we believe this program can be both educational and rewarding while adding greater value to the overall student experience.
For years—even when we were students ourselves—many proms and homecomings followed a predictable pattern: students arrived for photos, danced briefly, and left soon after the final announcements to attend after-parties. Our goal is to change that narrative by creating an event that is exciting, immersive, and engaging enough to keep students celebrating all night long. We take full responsibility for planning interactive activities, designing the event’s theme and visual presentation, and delivering high-energy live entertainment to create an unforgettable experience for your students.

We believe that working with teens requires a special kind of heart and understanding. It requires a special kind of leadership and creativity! Our staff loves to have fun and we are positive the kids will love it too! We work long hard hours putting together the right team to work on these projects throughout the year and we would love for you to meet them!
Chris Harmon
OWNER/VIDEOGRAPHER
Chris is the founder of Harmland Visions, LLC that inherit #HighSchoolHype as an extension of the business. Chris is responsible for all of the booking and scheduling of the tour. He will also provide bundle deals and go over ways to bring #HighSchoolHype to your event! Although Chris handles the business side of High School Hype, he is also a Videographer. He is responsible for creating the visuals that document the stories of your child’s special day!
Chris has a lot of experience working Mitzvahs, Sweet 16s, and Quincenera’s! Chris has a deep passion for storytelling and cherishes every single opportunity to film a video project. Chris attained his education from Grambling State University with a bachelor’s in Mass Communication. Shortly afterwards, Chris moved to Dallas to start Harmland Visions, LLC in 2010, which originally started as a Video Production Company. After the years went by, Chris found that it was beneficial to their clients to provide a product that offered multiple services within one company, where several professionals would work together to service your event in one!
Chris is on the Board of The Society of Wedding Professionals as he serves as the Director of Media and Public Relations. He is also a committee member of the NACE Programs and Communications board. Chris has led the Harmland Visions DJs to win back to back awards in the Houston Extravaganza show in 2015 and 201 as DJ of the year as well as several other awards from Wedding Wire and The Knot. Chris focusing on bringing the right talent into the company that caters to the respective clients. All of the DJs that are brought on to staff are the best selections for High School Hype!
